It is easy to spend thousands of dollars having a yard elegantly designed and landscaped. Walkways are constructed, flower color schemes are planned, proper shrubbery is chosen and countless other details are worked out in order to turn a design that looks great on paper into a realistic achievement. However one design element that should not be overlooked is outdoor lights. Ornate flowers shrubs and retaining walls look great during the day, but vanish at night. A great selection of exterior lights will make a beautifully landscaped yard enjoyable day and night. The selections for lights are wide and varying ranging from solar to low voltage, flood lights to in-ground lights and even lamp post lighting, so planning and consideration are critical. However once a style is selected there are many places online that has huge selections and great prices on landscape lighting. If you are choosing lights for a large yard, shopping around can be very important as it is not too difficult to spend a lot of money on lights and it is easy to get carried away. But the reward for choosing a great set will be worth the effort and the ability to enjoy a well manicured yard at night further justifies the money spent.

Online health insurance quote engine Whataquote.com has added free quoting of guaranteed issue health insurance plans to their website. Known for primarily quoting major medical health plans and life insurance, Whataquote.com is giving insurance shoppers access to a little known type of health insurance that does not discriminate agains people who have pre-existing conditions. For many years people who suffered from pre-existing conditions either did not have insurance available to them or had to pay extremely high premiums to obtain insurance.

Guaranteed issue plans guarantees that everybody can have access to a plan. Everyone qualifies and can receive most of the standard benefits you get with a major medical plan such as accident coverage and emergency room visits. So now anyone looking for cheap health insurance, but just cant qualify for a full coverage has an option.

(PRWEB) September 24, 2009 — Following the tremendous response to the original red and blue Limited Edition ADOPT image release earlier this year, Adopt-a-Pet.com (http://www.adoptapet.com), North America’s largest non-profit pet adoption web service, announces the upcoming gold and black Shepard Fairey “Lead By Example” print release.

“Homeless pets urgently need us to take the lead and speak out on their behalf, now more than ever,” said Shepard Fairey. “The ‘Lead By Example’ ADOPT image is a powerful one and it is my hope that this new print will give people a way to advocate for these animals and show their support for pet adoption.”

According to Adopt-a-Pet.com Spokesperson Dr. Pia Salk (http://www.drpiasalk.com), who initiated the ongoing collaboration with Fairey, “The ‘Lead By Example’ image is really a call to action to raise awareness for the plight of shelter animals nationwide. Shepard’s dedication to all victims of injustice, regardless of species, provides an example of what it means to ‘Lead By Example.’”

Salk added, “The economic downturn is hitting these animals harder than ever. Record numbers of loyal family pets are being relinquished to already overcrowded shelters. And budget cuts further compound the tragedy, as shelters are now getting even less funding to provide needed care.”

California budget cuts recently led to a suspension of The Hayden Law, a bill that required California shelters to hold all incoming animals for a minimum of four to six days. The reduction to a one to three day hold gives lost and relinquished pets even less chance to be found or to secure safety before they are in danger of being killed.

“Sadly, these innocent animals are paying the price for our crisis with their lives. We at Adopt-a- Pet.com are more committed than ever to getting the millions of great shelter animals currently waiting to be adopted, seen, saved and into loving homes. Proceeds from the print purchase will help support pet adoption,” said Salk.

Signed/numbered screen prints (http://muttslikeme.adoptapet.com/get_image/index.html) (limited edition run of 400) will go on sale Thurs., Sept. 24 at a random time. The first red/blue ADOPT print by Shepard Fairey sold out in under 90 minutes, so this latest version is also predicted to go fast. Each print will be numbered and signed by Shepard Fairey and priced at $200 each.

T-shirts, dog bandanas and stickers (http://muttslikeme.adoptapet.com/get_image/index.html) with the ADOPT image are also available for those who wish to show their support for this lifesaving cause. To purchase Shepard Fairey ADOPT print and merchandise and to sign up for alerts of future print sales, visit http://www.adoptapet.com and click the link to sign up.

About Adopt-a-Pet.com (http://www.adoptapet.com):

Adopt-a-Pet.com (http://www.adoptapet.com) (formerly 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com) is North America’s largest non-profit pet adoption website, helping over 7,000 animal shelters, humane societies, SPCAs, pet rescue groups, and pet adoption agencies advertise their homeless pets to adopters for free.
First of all, a guaranteed issue health insurance plan is not a major medical health insurance policy and therefore only covers certain specified aspects of health care. For instance, it is possible to buy a personal accident indemnity plan. In this policy, the insurance company will only cover the benefits related to personal accidents, such as dislocations, burns, fractures, paralysis, surgical procedures, lacerations, comas and brain concussions that have resulted from a covered accident. This plan includes emergency room fees, follow-up treatments and hospital confinement benefits, including intensive care benefits that are a result of the covered accident. Most types of accidents are covered, but there are several exclusions as well, such as any type of accident that results while the driver is under the influence of a controlled substance or while intoxicated. Mountaineering accidents that include using ropes and/or related equipment, parachuting, or hang gliding are excluded from the policy as well as sport-related injuries for individuals that are working for a wage, including officials and coaches. These are just a few exclusions that are in the accident policy. I highly recommend reading through the exclusions section of the insurance company’s brochure before purchasing a policy. Nothing is more maddening than finding out after the fact that your insurance doesn’t cover the accident you had last week.

London, UK and Stockholm, Sweden (PRWEB) June 9, 2009 — Yooba Ltd today announced the full commercial availability of its revolutionary online Flash creation and management system, Yooba.

Yooba is a content management system (CMS) specially designed for Flash website content creation. As with CMSs for static content, Yooba puts full creative power over Flash, right down to the object level — but without the need for programming skills — into the hands of editors and others responsible for site content origination and maintenance. As Yooba behaves just like a conventional CMS, therefore, it is particularly intuitive and easy to use.

All work in Yooba is carried out via the user’s web browser, so no software installation is required. As the editing environment — Yooba Studio provides the same features and functionality of costly industry-standard professional packages, it delivers substantial operational savings — a considerable benefit when communications budgets are under pressure, but businesses still need to maintain their communication channels.

As a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application, there are no licensing issues with Yooba and users are always working with the latest version. The SaaS structure also gives full scalability on pricing, to suit anyone from individual professionals to enterprise companies.

Once content is created, Yooba makes the efficient management of the Flash elements straightforward, which simplifies the scheduling and publication of created and edited material. This is carried out through Yooba’s graphical admin dashboard, which gives users total control of Flash objects within a website at a glance, making it easy to update and change them as frequently as information and sales campaigns require.

David Nordin, Yooba’s Managing Director, commented, “We want to enable creation of Flash-elements to complement the static content; to visualize and enhance information. With Yooba Studio, our users can still focus on what they do best, be they designers, agencies or editors. Thanks to Yooba, they can now get their work to the web in entirely new ways. We’re bringing technology and creativity together, but with the emphasis on business values. We want to make it possible to have an increased presence and interactivity on the Internet, and with Yooba you really do get more bang for your buck.”

London (PRWeb UK) May 21, 2009 — Cyber-Duck, a multiple award winning interactive media agency today announced that is has won the prestigious, international Horizon Interactive Award 2009, for the third consecutive year.

The Horizon Interactive Awards recognise outstanding achievement and excellence in media production, honouring the media projects that demonstrate the highest level of international talent.

Cyber-Duck was awarded the Bronze award in the ‘Company Identity and Self-promotion’ category after judges were impressed by the company’s new AJAX-driven website (http://www.cyber-duck.co.uk) that combines user-orientated design and quirky, vibrant flash animations with clear and concise messages.

The 8th annual Horizon awards, held in the US, received over 2000 entries from 32 countries around the world and nearly all 50 of the US States.
This is the third consecutive year in which Cyber-Duck has won this prestigious accolade. Cyber-Duck first won the Bronze Horizon Interactive award in the ‘Company Identity and Self-promotion’ category back in 2007. In 2008 Cyber-Duck won another Bronze Horizon Interactive Award for its design and development of the Greenworks website (part of the Saint Gobain group) at www.greenworks-energy.co.uk.

Matt Gibson, Head of Production at Cyber-Duck commented, “We are delighted that our creativity has again been recognised by the Horizon Interactive Awards. We aim to bring even more to the judging table next year”.

About Cyber-Duck

Cyber-Duck is an award-winning interactive media agency. The company was established in 2001, to fill a gap in the digital agency market, bridging the divide between ‘geeky’ driven web development, usability specialists and agencies offering results based marketing and artistic creativity. By offering all four disciplines under one roof the company has set itself apart from traditional agencies, with innovative user centered creative solutions utilising the latest technological advances.

Cyber-Duck’s ethos is that every interaction should have a meaningful purpose, enticing users to act: buying a product, signing up to a newsletter or distributing a video to their contacts. This delivers tangible results for clients, placing them one step ahead of their competition.

Combined, Cyber-Duck’s ethos and breadth of expertise has resulted in the company being repeatedly recognised as a leader in the digital industry field, winning some of the industry’s most prestigious awards. Last year alone Cyber-Duck won awards at the Horizon Interactive Awards, the Communicator Awards, the W3 Awards, the Europrix Top Talent Awards and the Construction Marketing Awards.

The company’s clients span a wide range of sectors, including household names such as Mastercard and Intel as well as celebrities like Anton Kreil, star of the BBC’s programme ‘Million Dollar Trader’ and Gilev Showband where Alexandra Burke was employed before winning the X-Factor in 2008.

Natural Environmental Systems, a distributor on pond supplies and other natural/ organic products, is now selling a variety of windmills for both aesthetic and functional purposes. The functionality of the units are as aeration windmills for ponds and lakes, however they do offer decorative windmills for back yards and gardens. The noteworthiness of this item and company is that they windmills can be customized through powder coating, so customers are no longer limited to just a galvanized steel option. Any part of the windmill from the tower to the blades can be powder coated any color the customer wants, all they really need to do is provide the company with the color or specifically the PMS color code and then specify which color goes where on the windmill. Currently the colors are limited to only two per unit. For an additional level of customized design, the tail fin on the units can be pseonalized to inlcude a company name, logo or anything else that will fit in the space an identifies the windmill with the customer.

At this point in time customer orders must be placed over the phone, but some standard powder coat color designs are available on the website. To learn more visit the Windmill Kits section of the companies website.
